What is the Program?
For three full days, six speakers and industry leaders professionalize their speaking craft
There are two layers of the program:
1.) The Foundational Layer
2.) The Craft-Practice Layer
In the Foundational Layer, you come to Switzerland and for three consecutive days, work from head-to-toe on the embodiment of the craft. Using an existing talk, you revise and rehearse the content, heightening it to the highest professional standard.
In the Craft-Practice Layer, you are invited back into the community to continue to practice the craft. Online ‘Studio Workouts’ are scheduled monthly to support you to continue to work on existing or brand new talks. The regular Workouts keep the craft-based skills fresh and alive and bring the you and the community closer together for connection, encouragement and support.
Who is teaching?
All teaching is done exclusively by Dr. Laura Penn, Master Teacher in the Speaking Arts

How Does the Application Process Work?
With such a bespoke and transformational approach, each Studio cohort is limited to only six students, so our application is our way of finding out if you and the program are a match. If you are, we’ll get back to you within three working days and schedule a video call to answer any questions you may have and to share the logistical details about the program, including its cost.
